Job Summary:
Seeking a qualified Pharmacy Technician for a travel assignment in a high-volume hospital setting. Must have experience in sterile, non-sterile, and hazardous drug compounding, including neonatal and pediatric IV preparation. The role requires flexibility with rotating shifts and a commitment to quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare sterile and non-sterile compounds, ensuring accuracy and safety in neonatal and pediatric settings.
• Perform hazardous drug compounding following strict safety protocols.
• Utilize medication dispensing systems such as Pyxis MedStation and DoseEdge to accurately select and distribute medications.
• Adhere to unit-specific policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain thorough documentation within Meditech and other pharmacy management systems.
• Support the transition to 12-hour shift schedules and ensure coverage during assigned hours.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Florida Pharmacy Technician license.
• Possess at least 2 years of pharmacy technician experience, with specific neonatal and pediatric IV preparation skills.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential required.
• Demonstrate proficiency in sterile and hazardous drug compounding.
• Ability to adapt to rotating, 12-hour shift schedules, including weekends.
• Exhibit strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
